We believe in a no-pressure store, which is why all prices are clearly marked, and all the brands are in stock. We will never try to push you into buying something you don’t want. And if you need a little help deciding, our team is knowledgable and ready to teach.

2003 – Extreme Velocity Inc. is Born.
In 2003 I set out to build the store that I always wanted as a player. I wanted all the brands, not just one or two. I wanted to see and touch the gear, not have it all hidden behind a counter. And I wanted clear fair pricing, not the “Specialty retail” markup.

2005 – Extreme Velocity Moves to a Larger Store.
Our guests loved what we were doing, and they responded by coming back time and time again, and bringing their friends with them. The more we sold, the more we re-invested in more inventory. The more selection the better! We quickly outgrew the original shop and moved into the largest space we’d ever seen a paintball store in before. This was the beginning of the Extreme Velocity we know today.
2009 – Extreme Velocity Buys The Angel Guy
The Angel Guy was a supplier of custom Angel Paintball gun parts and upgrades. We’d sold their iconic “Predator” boards for years, and in 2009 we flew down to Dalton, GA to move this great little company up to Oregon to become a part of Extreme Velocity. TAG has since become the service department of Extreme Velocity and lives in our Eugene location. We still refurbish Angels, but have added servicing all kinds of Paintball and Airsoft equipment. 2010 – Extreme Velocity adds Airsoft
Though we had sold a few Airsoft products earlier, it was in 2010 that we decided that Airsoft needed to have a more significant role in our future. We rebranded from EV Paintball to Extreme Velocity Tactical. We changed the layout of the store, and we invested in a TON of Airsoft equipment. It took a while, but slowly we earned the respect and credit of the Airsoft community much like we had with the Paintball community years earlier.
2017 – Extreme Velocity Buys Warpaint International
By 2017 the store and service business had grown to the point that we were looking for the next big thing. At the same time, the owners of Warpaint International (Salem’s indoor Paintball Arena) were looking to get out of the business. It was a natural fit. EV purchased the assets of Warpaint International, remodeled the store and moved in!
May 2019 – Extreme Velocity Buys Phantom
The legendary Phantom pump-action paintball marker has been made in Oregon since its inception in the mid 1980’s. And they have always been popular guns in our store. In 2019, the founder of the Phantom passed the baton to Extreme Velocity owners Brian and Jesse. After some hands-on training, the whole operation was moved in to our workshop where they are still being built by hand with the utmost care and craftsmanship. September 2019 – Extreme Velocity Opens LYZE Airsoft and Laser Tag Arena
As Airsoft grew in prominence at Extreme Velocity, we know we needed more than a few Airsoft games out on the Paintball arena. May 2020 – Warpaint Indoor Paintball Arena gets a facelift
During the Covid lock-downs, we got busy tearing the whole Paintball field apart, all the way down to the bare concrete… for the first time in 20 years! Then we rebuilt it with a fresh new look.
December 2020 – Extreme Velocity Opens Eugene Store
With more and more guests making the drive all the way up from the Eugene area, we knew we had to expand into that region! Extreme Velocity’s second location opened to the public on December 1st, 2020. Even larger than our Salem store, in also became the new home of our workshop, housing both The Angel Guy and Phantom.
January 2023 – Extreme Velocity Opens THE UNDERGROUND Indoor Airsoft Arena
Extreme Velocity opened the Longest Indoor Airsoft Arena in the northwest United States! It’s just under 100 yards long… underground… in a cold-war era nuclear fallout shelter! Stop by the Eugene store or book online to experience this Epic Airsoft adventure!
Summer 2023 – Extreme Velocity Opens THE LOST FOREST Outdoor Airsoft & Paintball Arena
Extreme Velocity is heading outdoors! Starting with our 20th Anniversary game at the end of the 2023 summer, we now have the ability to host special events at our newest field. This outdoor field is at the CFC (Capital Futbol Club, https://www.cfcsalem.com/) property. It’s an amazing facility which we will be continuing to develop throughout 2024 and beyond.
